【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheresistancetoignitionofupholsteredfurnitureusedforseatingwhentestedinaccordancewithBS5852,BSEN1021-1orBSEN1021-2,asappropriate.Thelevelsofignitionresistancehavebeensetaftercarefulconsiderationofthefireriskoftheparticularend-useenvironmentinvolved.Theselevelsdonotnecessarilyreflectthebehaviouroftheupholsteredseatinginafullydevelopedfire.ThisstandardincludesadviceonpredictivetestsforsmallordersinannexA.Thisisincludedtoextendtheapplicabilityofthestandardtosituationsinvolvingordersof200identicalunitsorlesswheredirecttestswouldbeundulyonerous.Thepredictivetestisnotintendedtobeusedasascreeningprocedureoraprerequisiteforfurnitureorintheselectionofcoversforordersgreaterthanthislimit.Upholsteredseatingfordomesticuseandtransportarenotcoveredbythisstandard.NOTE.Guidanceontheapplicabilityofhazardcategoriestoparticularpremisesisgiveninthenotestotable1.
