【摘要】:Thecorrosionpotentialofanaluminumalloydependsupontheamountsofcertainalloyingelementsthatthealloycontainsinsolidsolution.Copperandzinc,whicharetwoofthemajoralloyingelementsforaluminum,havethegreatesteffectwithcoppershiftingthepotentialinthenobleorpositivedirection,andzincintheactiveornegativedirection.Forexample,commerciallyunalloyedaluminum(1100alloy)3hasapotentialofx2212;750mVwhenmeasuredinaccordancewiththispractice,2024x2013;T3alloywithnearlyallofitsnominal4.3%copperinsolidsolution,apotentialofx2212;600tox2212;620mV(Note2),and7072alloywithnearlyallofitsnominal1.0%zincinsolidsolution,apotentialofx2212;885mV(SCE)(1-3).4Note28212;Thepotentialdependsupontherateofquenching.Becauseitreflectstheamountofcertainalloyingelementsinsolidsolution,thecorrosionpotentialisausefultoolforcharacterizingthemetallurgicalconditionofaluminumalloys,especiallythoseofthe2XXXand7XXXtypes,whichcontaincopperandzincasmajoralloyingelements.Itsusesincludethedeterminationoftheeffectivenessofsolutionheattreatmentandannealing(1),oftheextentofprecipitationduringartificialaging(4)andwelding(5),andoftheextentofdiffusionofalloyingelementsfromthecoreintothecladdingofalcladproducts(2).1.1Thistestmethodisaprocedureformeasurementofthecorrosionpotential(seeNote1)ofanaluminumalloyinanaqueoussolutionofsodiumchloridewithenoughhydrogenperoxideaddedtoprovideanamplesupplyofcathodicreactant.Note18212;Thecorrosionpotentialissometimesreferredtoastheopen-circuitsolutionorrestpotential.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
