【摘要】:Thistestmethodisdesignedtocomparealloysandmaybeusedasonemethodofscreeningmaterialspriortoservice.Ingeneral,thistestmethodismoreusefulforstainlesssteelsthantheboilingmagnesiumchloridetestofPracticeG36.Theboilingmagnesiumchloridetestcracksmaterialswiththenickellevelsfoundinrelativelyresistantausteniticandduplexstainlesssteels,thusmakingcomparisonsandevaluationsformanyserviceenvironmentsdifficult.Thistestmethodisintendedtosimulatecrackinginwater,especiallycoolingwatersthatcontainchloride.Itisnotintendedtosimulatecrackingthatoccursathightemperatures(greaterthan200x00B0;Cor390x00B0;F)withchlorideorhydroxide.Note18212;Thedegreeofcrackingresistancefoundinfull-immersiontestsmaynotbeindicativeofthatforsomeserviceconditionscomprisingexposuretothewater-lineorinthevaporphasewherechloridesmayconcentrate.Correlationwithserviceexperienceshouldbeobtainedwhenpossible.Differentchlorideenvironmentsmayrankmaterialsinadifferentorder.Ininterlaboratorytesting,thistestmethodcrackedannealedUNSS30400andS31600butnotmoreresistantmaterials,suchasannealedduplexstainlesssteelsorhighernickelalloys,forexample,UNSN08020(forexample20Cb-34stainless).ThesemoreresistantmaterialsareexpectedtocrackwhenexposedtoPracticeG36asU-bends.MaterialswhichwithstandthissodiumchloridetestforalongerperiodthanUNSS30400orS31600maybecandidatesformoresevereserviceapplications.TherepeatabilityandreproducibilitydatafromSection12andAppendixX1mustbeconsideredpriortouse.Interlaboratoryvariationinresultsmaybeexpectedasoccurswithmanycorrosiontests.Acceptancecriteriaarenotpartofthistestmethodandifneededaretobenegotiatedbytheuserandtheproducer.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedureforconductingstress-corrosioncrackingtestsinanacidifiedboilingsodiumchloridesolution.Thistestmethodisperformedin25%(bymass)sodiumchlorideacidifiedtopH1.5withphosphoricacid.Thistestmethodisconcernedprimarilywiththetestsolutionandglassware,althoughaspecificstyleofU-bendtestspecimenissuggested.1.2ThistestmethodisdesignedtoprovidebettercorrelationwithchemicalprocessindustryexperienceforstainlesssteelsthanthemoresevereboilingmagnesiumchloridetestofPracticeG36.SomestainlesssteelswhichhaveprovidedsatisfactoryserviceinmanyenvironmentsreadilycrackinPracticeG36,buthavenotcrackedduringinterlaboratorytestingusingthissodiumchloridetestmethod.1.3Thisboilingsodiumchloridetestmethodwasusedinaninterlaboratorytestprogramtoevaluatewroughtstainlesssteels,includingduplex(ferrite-austenite)stainlessandanalloywithuptoabout33%nickel.Itmayalsobeemployedtoevaluatethesetypesofmaterialsinthecastorweldedconditions.1.4Thistestmethoddetectsmajoreffectsofcomposition,heattreatment,microstructure,andstressonthesusceptibilityofmaterialstochloridestress-corrosioncracking.Smalldifferencesbetweensamplessuchasheat-to-heatvariationsofthesamegradearenotlikelytobedetected.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandard......
