【摘要】:Twomethodsforthedeterminationofthebulkdensityofgranularrefractorymaterials(graindensity)havingagrainsizelargerthan2mmarespecified.Method1(mercurymethodwithvacuum)isintendedasarefereemethod.Method2isthearrestedwaterabsorptionmethod.Thetwomethodsmaygivedifferentresults.Anystatementofthevalueofabilkdensityshallthereforebeaccompaniedbyanindicationofthemethodused.Thesamemethodshallbeusedforthedeterminationofthevolumeofthesample,forselectingandpreparingthesample,forcalculatingthebulkdensityandforpresentingthetestreport.
