【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminationoftheresistanceofchemically-pretreatedtextilestotheactionofmicroorganismspresentinsoilincomparisonwithuntreatedtextiles.Thismethodisapplicabletoflattextilesmadeofcellulosic-containingyarns(tentage,tarpaulins,webbingandtapes)thatwilltypicallycomeintocontactwithsoilduringuse.Duetotheinherentresistanceofmostsyntheticfibrestoattackbymicroorganisms,fabricscontainingahighproportionofsyntheticfibrescanonlybejudgedbythesemethodsforchangesinstructureandappearance.Althoughthismethodallowsgoodreproducibilityofresults,itisintendedtoshowcomparativeperformanceratherthanprovideabsolutevalues.NOTEHeavytarpaulinfabricsandwebbingmaybeofsuchastructurethatsampleswithoutfinishareresistantwithina14dayssoilburialperiod.Alsoinsuchcasesthedecayrateoftheuntreatedsampledeterminesthelengthoftheburialperiod.
